Dictionaries are thrown out so much now, and I get sad seeing them in dumpsters. I am very strict on using only trash of second hand items, and so I had to wait months to find this beautiful second hand wreath at a local thrift store, I took the wreath home giddy with excitment, I then spent 5 hours creating the beautiful hand drawn and cut petals for each of the flowers… it turned out beautiful. And if you ever get board, go ahead and learn a word or two off a flower. And this will saving a lot of money to make your own wreath!

How to make a Wine Grapevine Cork Wreath?
The ideal glue to use here is a hot melt glue, because it sets VERY quickly and is very sturdy. However, I tend to burn myself when I use that stuff, and my boyfriend wasn't available for this round :) So I used my second choice, which is Elmer's ultimate glue. This stuff expands which is very helpful. It takes longer to set, though, so it means you need to position the corks into places they can "rest" while the glue solidifies. You've probably seen these style of wreaths in wine shops, wineries and of course in wine lovers' homes. It is a grapevine style of wreath, decorated with corks and grape leaves and grapes. In this case I made it with a 14" Grapevine wreath base, which I got at my local craft store. You can find these "wreath base" circles in pretty much any craft store. They also sell artificial grape leaves and artificial (plastic) grapes for the decoration.

This woodsy design, studded with fruit and plants, blends faux and real. From the crafts store, purchase a 16-inch grapevine wreath and artificial Granny Smith apples. Use a hot glue gun to affix the apples, spacing them equally around the ring. Select an assortment of seasonal flora from the florist or the forest — pinecones, fragrant eucalyptus, and juniper — and weave them into the grapevine, filling in the areas between the apples.

My siblings and I enjoyed hours of play climbing and swinging on grapevines around the homeplace. Fun for kids, wild grapevines are anything but good for the woods. The vines choke out small trees and other valuable growth. Grapevines can become so thick and heavy that they can break off tree tops and branches. Grapevine crafts have held their popularity for years. I have crafty friends who make grapevine wreaths and trees and sell them for hefty profits. I often see them at craft shows- even at garage and yard sales! Both grapevine wreaths and trees aren't difficult to make. Both items require winding and securing the flexible vine around a base. They are time-consuming, though.Learn Something New Everyday,In all the grapevine wreaths and trees I've seen, I have yet to see a care tag on one. So, you don't think they require any special care, right? That's what I thought... until I visited a flower shop recently. They had small grapevine wreaths on display. While admiring the wreaths, I told the sales person that the problem with grapevine trees and wreaths is, they don't last very long. Before you know it, they start to look faded and, well, kind of ratty. She stopped and looked at me kind of wide-eyed. Then, I got a lesson.
